Rick Owens

Works
Overview
Recognized for his dark, post-apocalyptic style that blends gothic grunge with high-end fashion.

In 2005, American fashion designer Rick Owens expanded his brand to include furniture design. Using raw plywood, marble, and moose antlers, the collection is inspired by his favorite shapes from Eileen Gray to Brâncuși to California Skateparks.

French culture and fashion icon Michèle Lamy, Owens’ longtime partner, has worked closely with artisans in the construction process of the Rick Owens furniture line. Lamy co-curated and collaborated on exhibitions at the Musée d’Art Moderne in Paris (2015) and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles (2016), showcasing Rick Owens Furniture.
